To train medical doctors and specialists, the umcs work closely together with general hospitals and education and care institutions in the region.

This collaboration takes place within the Training and Education Regions (OORs). The NFU coordinates and formulates the procedures and instruments to create more administrative uniformity within and between the OORs.

  3. There are more possibilities for skills training in skills labs and simulation laboratories.

Regional collaboration is needed to be able to train enough good healthcare professionals of the future. This makes the learning environment more complete and more effective, and produces more continuity.
