Cao negotiation continued; new proposals from NFU
On Thursday, 18 January 2024, the Netherlands Federation of University Medical Centres (NFU) and the unions continued their negotiation about a new Cao for umc employees in a constructive atmosphere.
As promised at the end of last year, the NFU took the initiative to prepare new proposals to come to an agreement. They were explained in detail, and the unions responded in turn. A decision has not yet been reached, however, and there will be a follow-up meeting. A large number of topics was discussed, including wage development, travel expenses compensation, leave, a generational policy and the safety of our employees (including social).
Based on this exchange of ideas, it was agreed to continue the negotiation on 12 February 2024.
