Quality of care
The NFU strives to safeguard and improve the quality of care. The umcs work together to this end and consider the patient as a partner in this work.
- Quality of Care Consortium: what can we do to improve the outcomes of care?
- Measuring patient experiences: are patients satisfied with their treatments at the umcs?
- Time for Connection: how can we realise a reduction in the potential, avoidable morbidity and mortality in medical-specialist care?
- Safe patient care through safe technology: how do we ensure safe medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics?
Along with coordinating its own programmes and projects of the joint umcs, the NFU also promotes the interests of the umcs in national quality programmes and initiatives. For example, the programmes Result-oriented care, the Transparency calendar, the IGJ-basic set and the Governance quality registrations.
